If you are from the northeast don't be fooled by their "new york style pizza". Soggy, cheesy, no sauce, weak toppings. Quick delivery and friendly staff though.

OK Italian food. Friendly staff. It has indoor & outdoor seating. Clean. You can get whole pizzas or by the slice. Lots of other sandwich and pasta choices.

The pizza is great and it's one of the only places to get a late night pie in the upper keys. We've seen them deliver as late as midnight on weekend nights, which is really late for this corner of the world. My tip: If you're driving into the Keys from Miami, order while you're in Florida City and your pie will be ready by the time you pass Tower Pizza! O yeah, they've got beer!

If I would have written this review the first time I went, I would have had no problem giving it a 5 star review. Now, fast forward to summer 2010, and after much anticipation, we finally had the chance to eat the yummy goodness again. Only thing is that this time it wasn't so yummy. Totally bummed. We ordered a pizza ,and I have to say, that I really didn't have a problem with this. It was pizza, no fireworks, but good. We also ordered a chicken Parmesan. When they brought the plate to out table I instantly started salivating. It was oozing with cheese and sauce! Mmm! My favorite way. (see picture) However, once you made it past the cheese and sauce, the chicken had the most unpalatable taste. It wasn't fresh and tasted like the Tyson chicken that is frozen and comes in a cardboard box. I was really let down by this. I liked it so much the first time that I am willing to go back a third time. Three times a charm right?

Little drops of garlicy heaven, that is what the garlic rolls are. They are bite size, soft in the center, crisp on the top and drowned in a sweet garlic. The subs are excellent, the meatball is my favorite, eat half for dinner and the other half for breakfast. The pizza is good, when you eat it there, it's one of those pizzas that don't deliver well.

  • Aretie G.

The worst pizza ever! So soggy & runny that the veggies were literally falling through the pizza crust!

    (1)
  • Jan S.

Crazy good. My first review of any kind. I ordered shrimp, bacon and extra cheese. So good I called and complimented the restaurant. Any/every trip to Largo will include this order.

    (5)
  • Doug C.

meh. not bad, not great. got a couple slices for takeout and some cheesy garlic bread - the garlic bread was just a sub roll with Italian spices and cheese. the pizzas crust was nice and crispy, but the toppings left much to be desired.

  • Kristen M.

The pizza is well bellow average, and just doesn't taste fresh. We ordered three slices of pizza (cheese & pepperoni) that took well over 20 minutes to make. There's barely any seating inside and even less outside. Later that night my bf was super nauseous and after that chances are that we won't be dining here again.

    (2)
  • Anthony A.

This place was way better than I expected. First off, the workers were speaking Italian to each other. The pizza was hand tossed and they have a vast array of toppings to select. The workers were extremely nice, and the pizza was wonderful.

A friend and I walked over to Tower of Pizza since a mutual friend has a house walking distance from there. I think our 5 minute walk was faster than our service. Once they asked us what to drink it took around 7 minutes to get our waters. My water tasted like soap and I gave it to my friend to confirm - it did. We gave our order and it took them about 10 minutes to serve us our garlic bread. Though we had ordered it with cheese, it just meant sprinkled Parmesan. The dough tasted and felt undercooked. I didn't mind the softness, but another couple of minutes and it would have been perfect. After eating the garlic rolls we waited a while to get our 3 cheese pizza slices. In total we had waited about 25-30 minutes for the pizza. The only thing that saved us from walking away was the fact that we were engaged in an intense conversation. Once we got the pizza we noticed the sauce was salty. The dough was undercooked a bit. And they used a generous portion of cheese. If it wasn't for the fact that the conversation was the primary focus and not the food we would have walked out. The Good: $2 pizza slices. Staff is polite. They give you generous portions. Based on my water, they do use soap to clean the dishes. Pizza and items were made fresh and not reheated. The bad: Service took too long. Pizza and garlic rolls were undercooked. Pizza sauce is salty.

OMG! The pizza was deeeeee licious! They were busy but were very quick! We will be back!

Had pizza delivered to our hotel room, it came faster than they said & was hot. We liked the pizza, garlic rolls were ok, not great. Overall a good value for the price. Tasty crust.

    (3)
  • Matt M.

Got take out last night. Can't speak for the actual place but the pizza was delivered to our hotel. Quick and good pizza. Being from NJ we know good pizza and this is pretty good.

    (4)
  • Tom E.

My family had a pizza delivered to us at our hotel on a recent vacation to Largo. Maybe its because I am from Chicago and am spoiled by good pizza, but this was aweful. We had been eating seafood like crazy and needed a break. This was really disappointing. The pizza was super soggy and stuck to the bottom of the box. The garlic rolls were cold. We called and they brought us another. It was equally as bad. Must just be their style of pizza. Not sure what else is around besides Papa Johns. I wish I would have ordered from there. At least I knew what I would be getting.

  • Mari T.

After being in Key Largo for a few days, we noticed that Tower of Pizza was ALWAYS busy, so we decided to stop in. Maybe it was our choices, but it was disappointing. Seafood pizza & Meatlover's pizza - both were soggy... strike out. Greek salad with grape leaves - yum, but ordinary Linguini with white clam sauce - definitely a unique variation with minced vegetables including peppers. my friend is not a fan of peppers, so didn't end up eating it. Key Lime pie - go to Mrs. Mac's, much better whipped cream version

  • Gabi B.

Ordered from here on Sunday of memorial weekend , pizza came hot and within 30 minutes do that deserves 2 stars at least. The pizza was average , it is very greasy but not to the point where it was gross to eat. It isn't anything ill remember but if I'm back in key largo I'd order from them again , if only for the quick service and good prices.

    (3)
  • Ben M.

Grouchy server who came out wearing scrubs. Hope she wasn't a patient somewhere. The pizza was recommended to us, but evidently not by our friends. Weird cheese, almost clumpy and salty and the oddest taste to date. The atmosphere isn't much either. So, if you're looking for bitter, crabby service and pizza that doesn't taste great, pull over and check them out. Otherwise, keep on driving down 1.

    (1)
  • Michelle C.

My family doesn't like their pizza, but there other stuff is okay for take-out. Here's the thing, they are kinda the only thing in town. There subs are good. The men in my family particularly like their meatball and their sausage subs. Decent anti pasta salad too. So, if you're lookin' for sit down dinner good, find something else. But they do a nice enough job at take out.

    (3)
  • Shannon L.

Ordered delivery- pizza and garlic rolls. They told us between 45 min and hour and were prompt. The garlic rolls were bite sized but perfect for the amount we wanted. They were delicious. Pizza was not greasy or too doughy at all and was great for delivery. Will definitely order from them again.

    (5)
  • Shannon P.

Cute and clean interior. Wide variety of beer. We ordered the Hawaiian, meat lovers & pepperoni. Pizza has a crisp crust and loaded with toppings. Excellent. Try it.

Great food. CRAP service. The best garlic rolls ever. Order two.. they are that good. Great minestrone soup, meatballs & pizza. I didn't try it but the greek salad but it looked great too. Chicken parmesan was horrible and the chicken was all cubed up instead of a cutlet. That sort of weirded me out. The waitress had an attitude and didn't want to do her job. Everything seemed like a big inconvenience to her. She gawked when we requested lime for our soda, deferred filling our drinks to another girl (who never came) and seemed generally miserable. I ended up filling my own soda that night. Our waitress and the manager also stared us into leaving when they needed the table for another party. And it wasn't like we were taking our time. And in case you were wondering.. YES the lady wearing the scrubs still works there. She wasn't out waitress but I did see her around. I didn't consider that to be all that weird in light of things. She was wearing the shirt portion of the scrubs, the type that a vet tech or pediatrician nurse would wear.

We enjoyed a nice relaxing dinner at Tower of Pizza while vacationing in the Keys. We shared a small white pizza, slice of seafood pizza, cup of minestrone soup and ended with a slice of homemade keylime pie! Everything was very tasty!!

  • Brian M.

Get the garlic rolls with mozzarella melted on top. Superb taste, fresh, and oozing with garlic butter. I've been driving past the restaurant for 35 years on my way to the lower keys and never stopped. I did last week on the way down. I made sure I stopped on the way back. Pizza was fresh tasting. The crust was great dipped in the excess garlic butter in the bottom of the roll pan.

  • Gary S.

Average at best. Better Pizza in the frozen food section of Public's super market. They sold me a pizza telling me they had Sicilian (Square) pizza. It was to round pizza dough's on top of each other and still round. It was also gross! See other pizza reviews below worstpizza.com/2008/09/w…

Somewhere out in the stix without lots of other really good restaurants and Tower of Pizza might get another star. Food was pretty good. Service was just okay. But they were open late on Sunday night and that counts for something! None of us tried the pizza. Prices were reasonable.

  • Neekosum N.

Food is ok, not worth for the $$ spent.

  • Amy C.

The whole family got sick after eating the pizza. The pizza was way to greasy

    (1)
  • Josh C.

Reader's Digest Review- Seeking an affordable and quick option for dinner. Met both criteria. Pizza was a bit soggy (but still edible). Greek salad was decent. Arrived with marginal expectations and got about that. We knew what we were in for. Probably wouldn't rush back but it was what we thought it was......

    (2)
  • Jennifer L.

Family owned nice little place. Pizza was very good, staff was pleasant. The owners present made the whole experience different. She was helping her guests with loving care. The restaurant had a few tables when we came in, and in matter of minutes got packed... That shows something. Don't leave this island without giving them a try. We enjoyed it. Will be back.

  • Amber E.

My roommate and I stopped here on the way home from the Key West pub crawl and ordered a couple of slices and cheesy garlic bread. Service was confusing - we had a couple of different ladies tending to us which lead to us not getting our cheesy garlic bread until after the pizza was delivered. It also was not very good - the middle part of the bread was soggy and not toasty at all:( The pizza itself was good - extra cheesy and greasy which was much needed for our hangovers! The price was also very decent - a couple of bucks for a decent size sliced. They have other items on the menu that sounded verrrry delicious!

    (4)
  • Alex R.

i went to this place for the first time this past weekend and I must say it was pretty good. The pies are bigger than most and greasy, the perfect thing after a long day of boating. The key lime pie was also very good, minus the store bought whip cream. One thing I disliked was the service, not very good. They took forever to take our order but it was also a busy weekend, I cant really hold it against them.

    (3)
  • Gina P.

Garlic rolls is all I have to say. (Yes the pizza is good too as is the little aquarium).

    (4)
  • Jens H.

Liked the meat lover pizza but their calzone was not with the right kind of dough. Our daughter loved the kids spaghetti meat ball.

    (3)
  • HARMONY R.

We had the supreme without anchovies, the cheese plain and a pepperoni with onions and Italian sausage! Awesome all around!!

    (5)
  • Diana S.

Service was great. The garlic rolls with cheese were amazing. Greek salad was great, a little overdressed but it was still delicious. Pizza was good. They serve beer and wine, can't go wrong.

  • Jenifer G.

Great pizza...we ordered late night and the pizza was great so we ordered again the next day.

  • R M.

As a NY'er I feel bad writing this. I was staying at the Marina Del Mar, and I was told the pizza here was great so my wife and I tried it. At about 8:00pm I ordered 2 slices to go, it took about 20 minutes but the person behind the counter was very nice. When we got back to the hotel I saw 2 big slices but on it was a quarter inch of semi un-melted cheese on thick pinkish bread. I ate it cause I was hungry but it wasn't good. Would I go back? I might it was 8:00 at night the staff was friendly and maybe they just weren't on their game at the time.

    Good pizza, family friendly environment.

    (4)
  • Nastassia J.

Excellent low key place for some great pizza. We had the sausage and bell pepper pizza and it was like a thin hand tossed. It was great. We also splurged and tried a slice of the homemade key lime pie. Great!!!

    (5)
  • Bill J.

It is good simple food. Pizza's are big and tasty, with a relaxed atmosphere.

    (3)
  • Chad B.

Great pizza. Good for kids. Wide selection of beer. Good stop while visiting the keys.

    (4)
  • Jeremy D.

Good pizza very good price, better than some of the pies I've had in NYC. Delivered in about 20 Min.

    (4)
  • Gen M.

Had a cheese pizza and garlic knots. First the pizza is ok, the crust is super thin and it has so much cheese on it that within a few minutes of getting it it gets soggy. Weird saying this but if the crust is going to be so thin they need to cut back on the copious amount of cheese or make a crust that can hold up to it. The flavor of the pizza is decent though, I wouldn't get it again though. On the other hand we went for the garlic knots and they are.. not good. They are soaking and I mean soaking in a bowl of oil, and they use jarred garlic..uh.. We also ordered a meatball bomber but is was never brought out. The place is tiny but I couldn't get the attention of the server because she was to busy gabbing and never came back to the table. I tried in vain to get her attention but I don't think I should have to get up during my meal to get my waitress. So when she came at the end of the meal I told her we never got the bomber and she tried running back to get it. I told her it was a bit to late and we'd just take the check... no I wouldn't recommend this place.

Not bad. Better food than most of the food we could find in key largo. We had the stuffed pasta shells and the eggplant Parmesan. The eggplant Parmesan would have fed two hungry vacationers without problem. The decor is circa 1950s original. The staff was friendly and the service good.

The Best Pizza in Key Largo.

    (4)
  • Manuel G.

Whenever I have to go down to Key Largo,I always try to eat here, the Lentil soup and pizza are excellent, very casual home style place, and inexpensive too.

  • M. S.

I cannot comment on their pizza as I have only had their Greek. The Gyros (2 in a single order) are huge. The ingredients are fresh and the meat very tasty as is the grilled pita. A bargain for $9.99! Service is very friendly and efficient. Inside is small and tables are close together. There are 4 picnic tables just outside facing the parked cars. I usually get my order "to go" because of this. Definitely recommended for a quick bite.

Small, hometown-type pizza shop with a fairly varied menu. The food was generally good but nothing to add to our family vacation scrapbook. Our son was excited to see wings on the menu, but was sorely disappointed to find out the sauce is already on the wings, and the waitress stated that's how they come (which means frozen, not fresh, usually). So he had to settle for a slice of cheese pizza. He did think the pizza was Ok. The hubby had a gyro and states it was more than he expected. It was basically two gyros on the plate with a nice large side of tzaziki sauce. I was in the mood for just a nice turkey sub. It wasn't even as good as what you can get at Publix's deli. The subs don't come with any sides, so be sure you aren't expecting any. They seem to have a decent selection of beers and Coke products at the fountain. So, would we be back, probably not. However, it is a nice change from the over abundance of fast food chains along US1

    (3)
  • Jonathan V.

The family was pleased once they took a bite of the pepperoni pizza, and they were even more pleased when they ate the garlic rolls with pizza sauce for dipping. These are the type of places I look for on vacation. Great find.

    (4)
  • Sean G.

Nice people but HORRIBLE pizza. Puddle of grease on the pie, the pizza nearly fell apart when you picked up the slice, and tasted bland. Anyone who truly appreciates pizza knows the dough and water it's made with is very important and it seemed they had no knowledge of it. TLDR; Nice people inside, slice fell apart when you picked it up and leaked a puddle of grease on the plate.

    (2)
  • Nadine M.

Worst pizza in town, no sauce on the plain cheese pizza and the side with the toppings is just thrown into the center, some slices have no ham others have chunks, the dough on the one side is raw then you go and charge me an arm and a leg for this junk!Is it that hard to make a good pizza?I don't think so!What a let down!

    (1)
  • Patti M.

I went for the chicken parm which was apparently a mistake (I apparently should have stuck with just the pizza). The chicken was gross....filled with gristle, which ruined the whole meal. I will say that the sauce was done right and they served warm bread before the meal. The salad, with iceburg lettuce was pretty unremarkable.

    (2)
  • Diane H.

Stopped here for a quick slice on the way out of the Keys. It was great, just the way a New Yorker likes it. Thin and cheesy.

    (4)
  • Isabel F.

Horrible service. I wouldn't know how the pizza is b/c after waiting 45 min for 1 slice of Greek pizza we got up and left. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

    (1)
  • Craig H.

In the mood for a good calzone, stop in. The Mahi, mahi special was huge and very good also. The Key Lime pie could of been better but it was ok. Service was excellent two servers and they were always checking on us. We will defiantly make this a regular stop

    (4)
  • Charlotte H.

We are in the keys only every so often but when we are there we love to indulge! We ordered the BBQ chicken pizza( double dough), the garlic rolls and calzone! I loved my calzone I thought it was great and I heard the pizza was good too. The Greek salad here is also good. I recommend this place. All in all pretty good

    (4)
  • Lourdes E.

This place has been here for a long time and closes at 11 pm. The garlic rolls (12 in an order) were so good we order another order. The salad potions were good and enough to share as a side - they have sliced onion, a pepperoni, lettuce and tomato. The kids orders were a good size (even for my 14 yr old son!). I ordered a small 12" white pizza and I loved it. Definitely large enough to share. The place is casual and clean.

  • JC M.

Stopped in Tower Pizza on the way down to Marathon and it was worth it. The pizza, Chicken Parmesan, and the subs were all great. Will definitely eat here again.

    (4)
  • Alex K.

Excellent food. Great value for money. The pizza was delicious. Loved the baby clams appetizer. Buffalo wings were done right too. Not undercooked and not overlooked. Will come back again!

    (5)
  • William C.

My wife and I went to Tower of Pizza for lunch. We each had a slice; she the vegetarian and the meat lovers for myself. It seemed that the slices were just cheese slices with the extra toppings added and some more cheese and reheated. It was OK, but I wouldn't go back.

    (3)
  • Patricia G.

Stopped here for a quick bite on our back home. It was close to closing time and the service was a bit slow but all in all the garlic rolls were great as well as the cheese/pepperoni pizza. Thin crust with just the right amount of sauce. Definitely recommend if you're craving good pizza on your way in or out of the keys!

    (3)
  • Crystal G.

I have to give 5 stars for the garlic knots. Soooooooooo good. Pizza was good, but the garlic knots were beyond amazing.

    (5)
  • Nichole B.

Pretty good local pizza joint. Ordered veggie and added pepperoni. Added extra sauce and asked for pizza to be cooked a little longer because the veggies made it a little watery. But after those tweaks it was a really delightful pizza. We even ate it for breakfast the next morning!

    (3)
  • Heather G.

Our family has visited the keys for the last two years, and Tower of Pizza is always a must have on our trip.

    (4)
  • Jorge A.

The pizza was alright, it didn't have enough sauce, it was a little tasteless. But the crust was great. The calzone and Stromboli we had were ok as well. I guess when your in key largo this is as good as it gets. If you really want great pizza, drive another hour north and go to Miami best pizza on us1.

    (3)
  • Tony M.

They are a Greek pizza restaurant and have a variety of other menu items. Also have gluten free pizza

    (4)
  • Sara G.

Went here last night for dinner and the waitress was very nice. The garlic bread was very tasty. The meals, however were disgusting and inedible. We ordered the manicotti, stuffed shells, veal parm, and Stromboli. The sauces in the pasta dishes were so sweet and the veal parm tasted like just the breading. The stromboli was very greasy and in a croissant rather than your typical pizza dough. The waitress sent the owner over and we nicely told him we weren't paying for our meals but no problem paying for the rolls and drinks to which he replied he was going to call the police on us and we were from another planet because we didn't like his food. He was very rude to threaten his guests and then insult them. NEVER eat here!

    (1)
  • Mariana M.

Best pizza I've had in awhile. Will revisit again. It was a last minute thing coming from the keys and a car full of kids was not disappointed

    (5)
  • Matt K.

I have to preface this review with the seemingly important fact that yes, I am a New Yorker and, yes, I am a very harsh pizza critic at times. That being said, this was some of the best pizza I've had since moving down south! The slices are large and ingredients very fresh. My friend got the chef salad and it was absolutely huge, like a breadless sandwich on a bed of lettuce. The servers were fast and on-point and we sat outside to enjoy the sunset. This is a hidden gem in the keys that you should definitely stop by for a slice!

    (5)
  • Larry T.

Had the chicken parm sandwich and wife had the sausage and peppers sandwich. Both sandwiches were excellent. Great sraff, friendly and quick. The best pizza and subs in the Keys. Eat here regularly and never disappointed. Only place to go for pizza in Key Largo.

    (5)
  • Lexy S.

Pizza is great very cheesy but if you get thin crust the middle is under cooked and the crust is burnt. I got the ravioli with cheese and it was horrible, the sauce was terrible and the ravioli was very over done and the mozzarella was very salty.

    (3)
  • Jeff A.

This place needs to read the reveiws of its customers. I read one earlier that said they need to put more sauce and I forgot to order with more. They were right! This pizza would have been good but it had no flavor other than meat and cheese. Sorry for the 2 stars but you need to put "MORE SAUCE" on your pizza.

    (2)
  • Brent A.

New York style pizza in Key Largo. If you like large thin slices, great place to stop. Order the garlic rolls as an appetizer, really good - lots of fresh garlic and covered in butter and oil. For pizza we had sausage mushroom, and we order the same pizza for the last 3 trips down to the keys, so yes we are fans. Nice beer list too

    (4)
  • Ericka L.

Delicious pizza and garlic rolls! Beer and service are great also! I highly recommend this place! I will be returning! A+++

    (5)
  • Mason S.

Mediocre pizza at best. Appetizers were extraordinarily unfulfilling as well. Worst buffalo wings that I've ever had.

    (2)
  • Mavita K.

Key lime pie and pizza was good. However, the garlic roles are amazing... Stop by if you are in this area.

    (4)
  • S K.

Average. The pizza is heavy on garlic salt. Better than the chain shops in town, but nothing to rave about. Key lime pie was our least favorite out of the 5 we've tried in town.

    (3)
  • Michael S.

Just passing through key largo on our way to key west when this place caught my eye, and my stomach. The pizza here was good. Not great, not terrible, but good. The price is reasonable for what you get I have nothing to complain about. I wouldn't go rave about their pizza, but as a stop on the way to the keys, this place hit the spot. I think an accurate rating of the food is 3.5 but I rounded up because they have a pretty decent beer selection - something I didn't expect at all.

When you're on a road that basically funnels all traffic as is the situation in the keys. You pretty much stand out with passing crowds if you have a catchy outside decor. That's a plus to tower of pizza. Locals eat here and you're bound to see the usual snowbirds flocking in through the doors. I ended up stopping in while coming back from a fishing trip consumed by hunger. My meter to see how good a pizza joint is, is pretty simple. Order a cheese pie and begin the process of being a culinary judge ala food network. It's a NY style pizza and overall it taste like county fair pizza. Nothing extraordinary, the cheese was good except the overkill of oregano took the taste and made it a bit weird. Now that's not to say I didn't consume the whole pizza. But that was my tummy taking what ever I gave it and screaming back, that's all you got man?! The large looks like a medium and something cazolas would probably point a finger to and laugh at. Total was $17 bucks, not bad but certainly a tad higher for what you are getting. Overall a visit to papa johns up the street would not leave anything to be desired.

Have been coming to this gem in the keys for many years for their antipasto. Today, we were disappointed to receive the antipasto with barely any meat, cheese, olives. We found 1 olive. So, I guess they have a new chef, Don't get the antipasto, it's not what it used to be. Wait staff was told and she just shrugged. Hope owner/management see this post. Pizza and garlic rolls great, ask for light oil, if your not a fan, drenched in oil and great garlic.

    (3)
  • Adarsh G.

The place was honestly horrible. To start off we were rudely seated. The service was extremely slow and couldn't take an order for their life. The double crust pizza is basically two pizzas stacked up on each other, and the thin crust was a normal crust! And to end it we got some key lime pie to go. We were expecting a great pie, since we were in the keys, but we were wrong. It was horrible, this place needs to be shut down immediately.

  • Yolanda L.

Pizza was very good. The tropical pizza was surprisingly delicious. never thought bananas would work on a pizza but it was a huge hit with my family.

    (4)
  • Ken G.

Pizza was delish. Definitely cheesy and fresh. I'll be back to try out other menu items.

    (5)

Very pleasant staff. The pizza, pasta, and subs were great. Plenty of quality food for a low price.

    (5)

Been going here for 15+years! Love it! Great good. Garlic rolls, pizza , Calzone , pasta!

  • Paul J.

Just finished my wonderful meal at the Tower of Pizza... Funky little place & the food was great... Had a Tropical Pizza with banana, pinnapple, bacon, & pepperoni... was leery at first but it was awesome... price point is outstanding for the Key Largo area Liquor prices are good (Beer & Wine) would recommend this to my friends....

We also stopped to grab cold subs to take with us to picnic one day at Pennekamp and another down at Anne's Beach. The subs were very fresh and tasty. Highly recommended.

Solid pizza, nice people. We carried out.... The restaurant is super casual without much atmosphere. Good for families. Wine and beer also available for carry out.

Good cheap pizza quickly served. Nothing to complain about. The Key Lime Pie was as good as I have ever had. My son demands we stop here each time we come to the Keys.

Amazing pizza! We stopped in on our way out of key largo. I had heard great things about this place but skeptical because I've been let down by pizza places before. We were not let down at all. We started with ceasar salads and our pizza arrived shortly after. Very happy about that considering this place was filled to the brim. The pizza was spectacular! It was cheesy, well cooked, and our toppings were fresh. We ended with a slice of homemade key lime pie. Delish!

We were passing through on our way to Ft. Lauderdale airport and we were STARVING. We needed a break from seafood and bar-type food, so we stopped at Tower of Pizza. I've read several reviews where the diners said the pizza was soggy. This is true. The crust is thin, but not crispy. It's definitely limp. This does not bother me at all, as the toppings are plentiful, the cheese is tasty, and the pizza arrived at our table REALLY hot and fresh. I had a chicken Caesar salad which was also fresh, and the chicken breast was pounded thin and right off the grill. My husband and I shared some macaroni and bean soup, which tasted like homemade. We got in and out quickly and left satisfied. I'd stop here again on our way in or out of the Keys.

Excellent pizza and service! You can't go wrong here! We stopped for lunch on our way down the highway. We sat outside and enjoyed delicious pizza and soup and bottomless soda! The crust is perfect! Not too thin or thick and the toppings were fresh and plentiful!

Tower Of Pizza is a location you just can't miss. Just look forward BAM! It's in your face. Here's your sign. It's great pizza for the area but I'd have to say, I had some slightly better. They are in good company too. We had ordered the Greek salads and two pizzas. The delivery was fast. The are close by. They will deliver to the marina too. So no need for an oven on the boat. Ah yeah life is good.

Shared small Tropical pizza...more than enough for two of us. Perfect crust, tasty, well prepared. Dinner salad very fresh but only ice berg lettuce with a slice of cucumber, one olive, and slices of onion...Will return for the very good pizza.

This is a great place to grab some cheap eats and be on your way. It isn't amazing, but they try. The tropical pizza is the first banana pizza I have experienced. I won't seek out banana pizza in the future, but I am glad I had the experience. The seafood pizza was also interesting. The key lime pie was so good, I took home an entire pie.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
